About Noventis
Noventis is a cosmetics and personal care brand. We sell serums, creams, sun protection, hair and body care, formulated and made in the European Union.
Why we exist
Most cosmetics are sold with adjectives. Lists of forty ingredients where the active the product is named after appears last, and the word “natural” printed on packaging nobody has audited.
The opposite seemed to be missing: short formulas, actives at concentrations you can say out loud, and certifications someone external has checked. Nothing more.
How we choose what we sell
- The main active has to be at a concentration that does something, and that figure has to appear on the page.
- The ingredient list has to be readable all the way through without giving up.
- The page has to say who the product is not for. We would rather lose a sale than deliver a disappointment.
- Whatever we claim has to be supported by the product information file. If it isn't, we don't claim it.
Certification
Twelve of our formulas are certified by ECOCERT Greenlife to the COSMOS standard, and two of them reach COSMOS ORGANIC, the higher tier. The word “natural” is not regulated in cosmetics: anyone can print it on a package. The COSMOS standard is regulated, and it is audited.
Who manufactures
Our formulas are produced in Latvia under Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 on cosmetic products, with a product information file and notification on the European CPNP portal.
The responsible person for the purposes of the Regulation is SIA NORD Beauty, Balozu 20a, Riga LV-1048, Latvia.
